The Attaché
Diplomacy and the Nation
"Here is my first principle of foreign policy: good government at home."
~William E. Gladstone

About The Attaché
"History is the version of past events that people have decided to agree upon"
~NAPOLEAN BONAPARTE
The Attaché is a group of young inquisitive individuals; reading, working, and trying to make an imprint felt in this world. Attesting to their diverse academic backgrounds and shared interests, they together wish to make an attempt in learning and making oneself aware of the global developments and in the process spread a word to create a discourse and for the same reason have very rustically called the online platform “The discourse”.
The team of The Attaché is no expert in foreign policy. This is an initiative to try and learn and make people aware of the subject through the various ideas talked about by different people in "The discourse". The blog will fairly acquaint itself with articles primarily concerning recent developments on relations with other nation states and its history.
The team wishes to think of The Attaché as a think tank that is based in Guwahati and is in the process of getting registered. With the consideration that anything happens in the domestic realm has repercussions abroad, this institution therefore wants to engage young minds of the region and beyond to interest themselves with the subject and that the idea of The Attaché is therefore to connect to people, very much like the 19th century legend, the world now calls him Ghalib, who wrote “Main akela hi chala tha janib-e-manzil magar, log saath aate gaye aur karwaan banta gaya”.
